Born and raised in the Philippines, I was like most of the first home buyers who had limited knowledge of the mortgage industry here in New Zealand. This is where I became motivated to study and learn more about the industry.

Before entering the finance industry I was in healthcare working as a registered nurse for 5 years in Saudi Arabia in a step-down intensive care unit. Although I loved helping others, I felt like routine was not for me and I was still looking for something more technical.

Since 2017, I have been working with IAG where I started as a Personal Insurance Consultant. After almost 2 years I upskilled to become a Specialist Consumer Underwriter. This was the time that my other half started talking about purchasing our own home,  however, neither of us knew where to start or how it all worked. I then decided I want to learn more about the mortgage industry. In 2019 I pursued studying New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 which I completed in 2020 where I was searching for the right fit for me, where I could learn from someone experienced, and be part of a professional team that really values not only ‘getting the job done’. This part should be a given; I was seeking to support the highest quality advice and client care and this is what I found at RSFA.

I would say that at the core of my ambitions, and where I feel truly passionate is providing pragmatic and sound advice to my Filipino community. This has to be at the top of the list. Whether that be purchasing a first home or upgrade an investment property, refinancing options, construction or turn-key lending requirements, or even a top-up of finance to buy a car, taking a holiday, or consolidate debt, I can help with the finance.

Since I started with very limited knowledge of the finance industry I know exactly how to help my clients to understand the complicated finance jargon – I’ve been in your shoes!

When I’m not busy meeting clients and getting mortgages approved, you can find me serving in our church community, spending time with my small family, or taking photos. I am also passionate about photography and I conduct portrait and events photography.

Please feel free to contact me and I look forward to adding value to your situation.
